  Prerequisite is depending on the test what you are looking for. Pathology person may suggest you for some specific preparation like Fasting, full stomach, drinking a plenty of water, medication etc

  Phlebotomists use needle to draw blood from your arms. The blood may collect in the vial. Then the sample will be sent to the pathology for testing. This procedure need to complete within a scheduled time.
